Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Scale and lead a high-performing engineering organization across backend, frontend, DevOps, QA, and architecture.
  • Technical Strategy: Define and implement the long-term technology roadmap for a highly scalable QA automation platform.
  • Process Excellence: Establish engineering best practices in code quality, testing, agile delivery, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Customer Success, and Support teams to deliver solutions aligned with business and customer needs.
  • Platform Architecture: Guide technical decisions related to performance, reliability, and security.
  • Innovation: Drive technology innovation around AI/ML, no-code testing, and intelligent automation.
  • Mentorship & Culture: Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.

Requirements

  • 13+ years in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles driving process, people, and product outcomes at scale.
  • Proven experience setting up and scaling engineering organizations, ideally in a high-growth product or startup environment.
  • Track record of implementing structured engineering processes (agile, scrum, OKRs, delivery metrics, capacity planning, etc.).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Familiarity with QA automation, testing platforms, or developer tooling ecosystems is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of engineering lifecycle management—from ideation to release to support.

Good to Have

  • Experience working in or building SaaS platforms.
  • Background in test automation, DevOps, or developer tooling ecosystems.
  • Exposure to building low-code/no-code platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applied to automation or quality engineering.
